In order to be listed on Zencare, all therapists go through an interview process, license and background checks. Throughout the vetting process, we verify that therapists have true expertise in the specialty areas listed on their profiles, as evidenced by a dedication to continued education, previous training and work experiences, ongoing supervision, and a knowledge of local higher levels of care. We also collect feedback from Zencare clients to ensure the ongoing quality of our network. Read more on Zencare vetting.

This means that all of our therapists are good: they are all licensed, in good standing, and use best-practice approaches to therapy. That said, the most important factor in successful therapy is the relationship between therapist and client, so look for a therapist you can connect with.
